BestInJa: Legends Rising Inaugural Tournament

Legends Rising is aimed at the organization of tournaments and amateur competition on the video game Apex Legends on all platforms. The goal is to offer teams the opportunity to hone their skills in a competitive environment. 

The tournament will be played in a team of 3 players with a maximum of 5 people per team to make a substitution if necessary (no replacement during games). 

Format is a BO5 game (Best of 5), where each team will have 3 hours to play 5 matchmaking games online.

The game is not yet cross-platform and as such the Legends Rising tournament is open to players on all platforms where the only requirement/limitation is that all team members should be on the same platform.

Rules & Format

- The tournament is played in a team of 3 players with a maximum of 5 people per team to make a replacement last minute (no replacement during games) 

- The format is BO5 (Best of 5), each team will have 3 hours to play these 5 matches in online matchmaking. 

- For the first tournament we will welcome 20 teams (there will be more teams for the next tournament) 

POINT ALLOCATION 

• Champion = 10 pts
• Finish 2nd = 7 pts
• Finish 3rd = 4 pts
• Finished 4th or 5th = 2 pts
• 1 Kill = 1 point

Participation and Reporting

1. A captain must be assigned for each team.
2. At the end of each game, the captain must report the outcome of each game via screenshots of their game so that it can be used to calculate the points of the team.
3. -The screenshot must be sent in the discord channel #legends-rising-screenshots of the discord server of eSports Jamaica with the name of your team and the screenshot number eg: Team Legends - Screenshot # 1 
4. In case of a tie for the first place of the rankings, one more game is organized between the two teams to determine the winner
5. For auditing and verification purposes at least 1 team member MUST be streaming the matches and stream description MUST contain at least one of following tags #legendsrising, #esportsjamaica #bestinja
6. Check into on Discord by 8:45 PM.
7. Tournament window runs from 9 PM and Closes at 12 mid night
