Retired Pro-Gamer earning $2 Mil per year

Michael "Imaqtpie" Santana built his reputation in the gaming community playing the online game League of Legends and, even though he retired from the pro-gaming scene in 2014, 1.6 million people still follow him on game streaming service Twitch. In the age of Internet influencers, his reputation banks him $2 million a year – and that's before you factor in any sponsorship money. So how did the  25-year-old from Silver Spring, Maryland get started on this path?

eSports Jamaica held it's first online 1 v 1 League of Legends tournament on October 22 and although the turnout was low, the level of hype, fun and excitement was very entertaining. We had a total of 6 players indulging, enjoying and competing in the tournament to see who would become victorious. Each play picked their strongest/preferred  champion, but it was KindQuille who ended up victorius by sticking with his Lucian for all games.

Despite losing the first match vs SKT T1 Apollo's Brand he fought his way through the loser bracket by defeating Project Deadshot,  coldfusion1,  and blackbloodmage to face off against the persons who put him in the loser's bracket - SK T1 Apollo.

The mistake SK T1 Apollo made this time was to make a switch to using Vayne although Brand was the champ that took him to the finals.  KindQuille showed that consisteny is key and stuck to the mantra of playing what you are good at and in the end it will all pay off.

Summer Chiru 2016

If you missed Summer Chiru 2016 you should be kicking yourself as you missed one of the most exciting events of the Summer. Luckily eSports Caribbean along with members from Clan Pro Circuit were there to provide coverage of the day's happenings.

It was truely a funfilled and action packed day as Clan Pro Circuit, Jamaica  Cosplayaz and The Embassy of Japan in Jamaica hosted  Summer Chiru 2016 at the UWI Mona Visitor's Bowl. Persons turned out in their numbers ready to indugle, enjoy and compete in the various events and competitions.
